Well, I suppose that you are all wondering how I might go about relating to you my experience of circus club. Or perhaps you are simply interested in how it went. In my response I will endeavour to provide satisfaction to both parties.

When one adopts a routine it can be said that this affords some comfort. However, in this comfort, if it endures, a stultifying cycle of similarity is envitable. In other words, I have become increasingly fed up with the same narrow experiences.

So I marched to a large hall, where various circus instruments were laid out before me.

I tried my hand at juggling. Notwithstanding tuition in this regard, I remain useless. My friend attached to his feet a large pair of wooden stilts. This was quite the source of amusement to me; in his pitiful efforts, with an absolute lack of grace, he proceeded to waddle slowly and unsurely, whilst leaning awkwardly all the while on a large speaker for much needed support.

At the time my friend was walking unsteadily, I had a short conversation with the Secretary of the club. 'Is it as hard as he makes it look?' , I asked him. 'Oh, it isn't really that hard', he replied. So my friend really is a goose.

On my next trip I have decided that I will attempt a ride on the unicycle. There was a very able fellow using it tonight. Apparently it takes about a month to learn even the very basic skills associated with its proper use. However, in my youth my balance in this special regard has been honed through riding in the most untraditional sense, steering with the use of my torso alone. If I look beyond the fall count, I can foretell, based on these experiences, that I, too, shall be quite the able fellow on the unicycle.
